New Skin Resurfacing Laser at KJSC
The
During the procedure, the top layer of skin is treated with pulses
of light in a pre-selected pattern.
The laser simultaneously sends heat to
the deeper layers of the skin to provide loner-term benefits.
A natural protective dressing forms on
the skin to minimize downtime during the restorative process.
On day 3 or 4, this natural dressing
will peel off, revealing new, healthy, vibrant skin underneath.
In a short time, patients will notice
overall skin clarity, smoothness and softness, all from a 15 minute
treatment with only 3-4 days of ‘social’ downtime.
Skin Care Procedures
BioMedic
MicroPeel®—A
three step treatment that removes a micro-thin top layer of skin.
This peel is ideal for bringing out the
desired clarity, tone, color and texture of your skin with little or
no down time.
BioMedic
MicroPeel® Plus—This
peel is designed to refine skin texture damaged by environmental
factors and skin conditions such as acne.
There is no down time, but because of
its more aggressive nature, some patients experience several days of
mild peeling.
Silk Peel™—This
type of Microdermabrasion peel is a breakthrough system that
combines precision non-invasive exfoliation with Dermalinfusion™ (a
deep delivery of skin-specific solutions) to improve and revitalize
the skin.
Obagi Blue Peel®—This
procedure is designed to significantly improve the appearance and
health of your skin by removing the thin surface layers of aged and
damaged skin so they can be replaced by healthier ones, allowing the
skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.
Due to the aggressiveness of the
procedure, a 1 to 2 week period is required for the healing process.
Dermaplane—The mechanical exfoliation of the dead top layers of
skin, revealing the smoother under layers.
This treatment can be done alone or in
conjunction with the MicroPeel or MicroPeel Plus.
Acne Treatment—A treatment designed to
cleanse the skin and extract comedones (blackheads and whiteheads in
the skin). Followed by dry ice which heals active acne and reduces
the length of a break out.
Laser Procedures
Hair Removal—A safe and effective treatment
for the removal of unwanted body hair.
Tattoo Removal—Everything from small,
single-color tattoos to large, multicolored ones can be
significantly faded, if not completely erased with little risk
of scarring or loss of pigmentation.
Facial Vein Treatment—This laser treatment dramatically improves
the appearance of superficial veins in the nose and cheeks, while
minimizing the risks found with other vein treatment lasers such as
scarring and bruising.
Pigmented Lesion Treatment—Removal of
unwanted age spots on the hands, face
and chest.
IPL LaserTreatment—This Intense Pulsed Light
resurfacing/rejuvenation procedure addresses red or brown
imperfections of the skin with little or no down-time.
Pearl™/Fraxel™/Affirm™ Laser Treatment—This
laser treatment is a unique approach to repairing aging and sun
damaged skin.
As a result of treatments, your skin
will become softer and smoother and the fine lines, uneven coloring
and brown spots caused by aging and sun exposure will noticeably
fade.
Sclerotherapy
In this treatment, sclerosing solution is
injected into each affected vein, causing the vein to collapse and
fade from view.
Sclerotherapy requires no anesthesia and
may be performed in an outpaitient setting.
Wearing support hose after the procedure
is highly recommended.
Dermal Filler
This simple procedure is used to fill in the
smile lines between the nose and mouth, small lines above the lip,
frown lines between the eyes, and to minimize the creases that turn
down the corners of the mouth.
The results are instant and long
lasting.
Permanent Cosmetics
This unique MICROPIGMENTATION procedure is
available in a variety of permanent cosmetic enhancements such as
eyebrows, eye liner and lips as well as for areola restoration,
hairline enhancement and more.
These procedures are ideal for those who
are physically unable, too busy or inconvenienced by daily make-up
application or for those who have allergies to conventional make-up.
There is a wide variety of colors available and every procedure done
at Kathy Jones Skin Care includes local anesthesia to make the
process more comfortable for the patient.
Complete healing takes one to six weeks
while the pigmentation matures and reaches its final color, but
normal activities may be resumed immediately after the procedure.
Thermage
This procedure is a non-invasive treatment that delivers tighter
skin, renewed facial contours and healthier collagen by gently
lifting the skin to smooth out wrinkles.
Botox
Botox Cosmetic is a FDA approved treatment for the temporary
improvement of moderate to severe animation lines of the face. In
2-3 days after the treatment, the skin surface gradually smoothes
out and the lines begin to fade.
Mesotherapy
This procedure is a multiple injection treatment for the reduction
of unwanted body fat and cellulite. Multiple sessions are required for optimal
results.
Endermologie
This procedure is a non-invasive technique used in reducing the

Eyelash Extension
